Experience

Responsible for all aspects of product development for Nanovor, a connected gaming experience for children composed of a hand-held game device, PC Game client, back end services, and Web presence. Four direct reports covering arts and design, development, hardware design and production, and server architecture and back-end tools. Direct production oversight for the Web sites and all hand-held software.

2000 – 2006                Xbox and Xbox 360 3rd Party Account Manager, Microsoft Corporation

Member of the initial Xbox 3rd Party Account Management Team responsible for evangelizing and managing relationships with 3rd party Publishers. Drove planning and implementation of Xbox and Xbox 360 demo game programs. Created and managed the Xbox Registered Developer and Incubator programs.

2006 – 2008                Lead Program Manager, Xbox Live Arcade , Microsoft Corporation

Managed a team of three producers while acting as producer for multiple titles. Shipped over a dozen games in 18 months. Participated in Arcade title approval, business planning, and strategic investment planning. Led crash development of Arcade camera-enabled titles to ship coincident with camera release. Defined standards and wrote white paper on best practices for camera-enabled XBLA games. Performed due diligence on developers and research on technologies which lead to successful titles including Trials, Magic the Gathering, Shadow Complex, and the currently-in-development Toy Soldiers.

Did extensive planning, managed cross-group communications and drove initial development required to support Xbox 360 Games on Demand through Xbox LIVE Marketplace

1997 – 1999                Executive Producer,  Electric Planet, Inc.

Managed all aspects of internal and external product development for a start-up built around vision-enabled PC entertainment products for children. Multiple direct reports including development, design, and production leads. Directly involved in negotiations that secured a multi-million dollar investment from Intel’s entertainment venture fund.
