2006 – 2008 Lead Program Manager, Xbox Live Arcade , Microsoft Corporation Shipped over a dozen games in 18 months including several top sellers. Drove process improvements in Arcade title approval, business planning, and strategic investments. Led crash development of Arcade camera titles to ship coincident with camera release. Set the standards and wrote white paper on best practices for camera-enabled XBLA games. Performed due diligence on developers and research on technologies which lead to successful titles including Trials, Magic the Gathering, Shadow Complex, and the currently-in-development Toy Soldiers. Drove planning and development required to support LIVE Marketplace Games On Demand.
2000 – 2006 Xbox and Xbox 360 3rd Party Account Manager, Microsoft Corporation Established the Xbox Incubator and Registered Developer programs which enabled many new/smaller developers to work on the Xbox platform. Championed and defined process and requirements for the Xbox Demo game program – something new to the video games industry. 70% of titles now ship demos and demos are recognized as the most powerful purchase influencers for new games. Evangelized publishers on Microsoft technology and products through the launch of Xbox, Xbox LIVE, and the introduction of the Xbox 360.
1997 – 1999 Executive Producer, Electric Planet, Inc. Drove productization of vision-processing technology for the consumer market. Established and led all aspects of internal and external product development for vision-enabled children’s games. Established three internal title development teams and negotiated development deals with external partners. Key player in negotiations that secured a multi-million dollar investment from Intel’s entertainment venture fund.
