Audrey, a 6" f6 Transportable

The primary is a fine 6" I got lucky grinding several years ago. The mirror box and eyepiece board are made of 1/2" birch plywood with cherry edges and the trusses are 1" aluminum tube with dowel plugs to hold threaded inserts. The focuser is from Crazy Ed Optical and uses a unique drawtube design to allow for a remarkable range of travel. I have mounted it on the underside of the board to get the height down. This scope was sold at Riverside in 1997 to someone who would actually use it.
